FEE-HELP
FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government Loan Scheme available to Degree and Masters students to assist them to pay for their tuition fees. Students may apply for their whole course, one subject or even part of a subject. Students may be studying on campus or online. Students may borrow up to a life-time limit of $81,600 (2008 indexed to inflation). How it works: The Australian Government pays the student’s tuition fees to the college on behalf of the student, and students begin to repay their FEE-HELP debt to the Australian Government through the Australian Taxation Office once their income reaches a prescribed threshold ($39,825 in 2007-2008). This assistance is not available to students enrolled in the Certificate and Diploma courses. More detailed information may be found at www.goingtouni.gov.au.
